Director Maybee worked for over 30 years in air and liquid filtration. Whether serving a local client or meeting needs across the globe, he was committed to providing the best filtration solutions available. A past President of the National Air Filtration Association, he served on numerous committees in ASHRAE (American Society of Heating Refrigeration Air Conditioning Engineers) to advance and improve the air quality for building occupants and equipment. Also serving for several years on an ISO (International Standards organization) as chairperson for one a committee devoted to improving air filtration on global stage.

An East Montgomery County resident since 1992, Phil and Karen were the founders of The Filter Man Ltd. which they started as a small shop on FM 1485 and grew into the two acres and 30 thousand square feet of office and warehouse it is today. Having retired along with Karen from ownership of The Filter Man Ltd, they are proud that the business is still operating with new owners out of the building they still own in East Montgomery County Business & Industrial Park on Gene Campbell. Now enjoying retirement, Phil enjoys cooking, golfing, fixing things, and travel “if we ever get to again”.

Director Bridges has lived in the Porter/New Caney area his entire life. He graduated from New Caney High School in 1993. Married for over 25 years, Darrell and his wife Kelli raised their three sons in the Porter/New Caney area. The Bridges family has recently grown as they welcomed their first granddaughter and added “grandparents” to the many roles they play. The Bridges family are members of Key Life Fellowship in New Caney and active in their local community.

Darrel is the owner of Elite Biomedical Services, where he currently works alongside his oldest son. They work together to help area medical facilities maintain and repair medical equipment, anesthesia machines, boilers, and sterilizers. Darrell has a degree in electronics and is skilled in plumbing and water treatment for medical boilers. When he’s not working, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Director Deaton is a native Texan, born and raised in Houston. He has lived in East Montgomery County for over 40 years. Jim moved to Montgomery County in 1970 shortly after wrapping up his service in the US Navy where he was a hospital corpsman stationed with the Marines. Shifting his attention to a career in construction, he held various roles up to and including superintendent throughout Houston and surrounding areas for 43 years. This experience made him a perfect candidate for to serve on the East Montgomery County MUD 3 board over the last 13 years.

Jim enjoys helping to solve problems that arise either in construction as well as dealing with the challenges of payments and billing. Now that he has retired, he enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 children, 8 grandkids and 4 great grandkids. In his free time, his hobbies include deer hunting, fishing, and bird hunting when time allows.

A native Houstonian, Director Parmer has lived in East Montgomery County for over 50 years and has served on the East Montgomery County Board for the last 20 years. He attended the University of Houston where he earned a bachelor’s in business administration/finance and has been married to his high school sweetheart over 53 years.

Ken worked in finance for more than four decades and has experience closing deals that regularly exceed hundreds of millions of dollars. Since retiring, he spends his free time doing woodwork, agricultural projects and helping his community. Ken attends Second Baptist Church and is part of the church ministry that assists widows and the elderly. The program supports the needs of the community by doing anything from laying sheetrock to simple yardwork and regularly visits members to check in on their friends and neighbors.

Brenda Crayton is a native Texan, born and raised in Northwest Houston. She brings many ideas on how to improve and maintain the water quality, parks, and pools. Brenda especially has a passion for maintaining a safe environment for the children in the community. She and her husband, Michael Crayton, have been married for 23 years and have a son.

Brenda worked at the post office for 34 years. While there, she was recognized for her safe driving, and not having any motor vehicle accidents during her entire 34-year career. Brenda retired Dec 31, 2019. She has attended The Palace of Praise Church for 15 years, where she also ministers and mentors’ youth and couples. Brenda’s other hobbies include cooking and standup comedy.
